The Society Against Violence Everywhere (S.A.V.E.) foundation is a proactive community organization dedicated to driving positive change that supports a safe and violence free community through the funding of educational initiatives, community programs, services and activities with a focus on youth.

S.A.V.E. will support new and existing programs, services and events through community fund raising events and donations, corporate and private.

The Women of Distinction Awards Dinner is the YWCA Durham's signature fundraising event. All proceeds benefit programs and services provided by the YWCA Durham. With the committed efforts of volunteers all across Durham Region, S.A.V.E. will be able to hold various fundraising events throughout the year.

Fundraising Events provide a fun and entertaining way to bring community together while reflecting the mandate of S.A.V.E.

S.A.V.E. will support new and existing programs, services and events through community fund raising events and donations, corporate and private.  Plans include track and field events, school dances, 10 Km runs and other activities that encourage the community to become actively involved in proving violence has no place in our community
